Investing today in financial Literacy will reap the best interest for future. Acknowledging the same, VIS organised a workshop for the faculty on "Decoding Finance Nuances".
Conducted by Prof. Rahul Ranjan, It was an eye opening session that gave an insightful perspective to the staff on financial management.

VIS organised a two days workshop mentored by H.M Foundational Years- Ms. Sanjum Sethi. These power packed workshops aimed at enhancing skills, exchanging knowledge, and exploring innovative teaching techniques tailored specifically for the Foundational Years. Topics like- Emergent Literacy, Play Based Learning and Stages of Handwriting Development were explored to the minutest details, enlightening facilitators on nurturing the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of the students.

The Public Speaking society of VIS, Animum Flectere, successfully conducted a Parliamentary Debate Competition: Arguing the right way on 27th and 28th June, 2023.

The finalists debated infront of an audience on a nerve-wrecking motion in the auditorium. Team” Catch De Bait” was announced as the champion team and “Chai Thodhi Feeki Hai, Debating Humne Seekhi hai” made their mark as the runners up.

The motive of the event was to nurture the eloquent orators of VIS. After an interactive and thrilling finals the best debators made a competent addition to the core team of the club.

Maiden meeting of our teachers with the faculty of Unebi High School , Nara , Japan with a vision to foster cultural ties between students of the two countries.

VISAA 2023 was held in school premises with great zeal .This glorious celebration saw heartening participation of around 80 alumni who were actively engaged in numerous activities ensuring its huge success. The memorable evening commenced with presentation of badges and welcome drink followed by lighting of the lamp ceremony. The alumni presented a spectacular band performance which left the audience mesmerised. The retro mashupof songs and dance added to the icing on the cake. Esteemed Principal Dr Manisha Sharma appreciated relentless efforts of students in making the event cherishable.

A workshop on INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES was conducted by Dr Manisha Sharma, the school Principal to familiarise the teachers with a wide range of strategies for promoting academic learning through peer cooperation and communication. Effective classroom management strategies were discussed with the aim of fostering  innovation and excellence in education.

To empower teachers to be better equipped with latest technology, a workshop on 'LEVERAGING AI TOOLS IN THE CLASSROOM' was conducted by HOD Computer Science, Ms. Meenu Kumar. Various AI tools to create and convert lesson plans, presentations and videos were discussed. It was an informative and enriching experience for teachers.

Venkateshwar International School celebrated the International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2023 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of practicing yoga. The Yoga Day celebration witnessed active participation from the entire school . It gave a deeper understanding of yoga and its relevance in today's fast-paced world. The event reinforced the school's commitment to holistic education and provided a platform for participants to adopt yoga as a way of life.
