On the 29 December 2023, Venkateshwar International School hosted a significant 'Farewell Ceremony' for the graduating class XII students. Kicking off with the traditional welcome ceremony, it marked a heartwarming moment as these students bid adieu to the school that has been their nurturing haven. The formal proceedings commenced with a warm welcome to esteemed guests and the esteemed Principal, Dr. Manisha Sharma. Her eloquent address not only shed light on the remarkable achievements of the graduating class but also imparted valuable life lessons. A heartfelt Gratitude poem followed, paying homage to the mentors who played pivotal roles in the students' academic journeys.

Adding a delightful touch to the evening, class XI students presented a captivating cultural program, featuring lively dance performances and a melodious orchestral presentation. The applause from the audience echoed the appreciation for the showcased talents. Subsequently, the class XII students were bestowed with various titles, filling the atmosphere with jubilation and camaraderie. Expressing gratitude on behalf of their peers, the Head Boy and Head Girl delivered a sincere Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the profound impact of the school on their educational journey. As the event concluded, a blend of joy and nostalgia enveloped every participant, solidifying the bonds forged within the cherished halls of Venkateshwar International School.

The Delhi State Taekwondo Championships 2023 took place at Central Academy International School, Dwarka. Our school excelled, securing an impressive 10 gold, 9 silver, and 19 bronze medals, showcasing outstanding performance and dedication in the martial arts competition.

We are proud to share that Third Officer Yosuda Kumari Gwala of VIS was appreciated for her remarkable contribution to the training of NCC Cadets for Republic Day in the Pre-RDC held at Safdarjung Enclave by 3 Delhi Battalion, New Delhi.

The VIS Science Club, Scientia organised a visit to National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) Open Day for XI and XII science stream students. NIPGR conducts high-quality research in frontier areas of plant genomics and molecular biology, with the aim of having practical application in crop improvement. Students witnessed and explored extravaganza of new age innovative scientific techniques and activities. It was an enriching experience for them.

Amidst the widespread Christmas cheer, the children of Foundational Years joyfully adorned their Santa caps, decorated the Christmas Tree, and sang carols, spreading mirth far and wide. Embracing the spirit of 'Sharing is Caring', students from the Preparatory Years extended love and compassion by visiting two orphanages with goodie bags, creating meaningful and joyful moments for everyone involved in celebrating the true essence of Christmas.

On the occasion of "National Mathematics Day", Anant club of Mathematics celebrated Sri Srinivasa's birth anniversary by conducting various activities.

Teaching our children to share is teaching them love and compassion.  Few students along with Value ambassadors of class V visited two orphanages with goodies bags to celebrate spirit of Christmas with the children residing there. It was a meaningful and joyful moment for all.

Our incredible students from Foundational Years- Class II showcased their dramatic flair in a spectacular HOG Drama Presentation! The stage was lit with enthusiasm as these young stars showcased their theatrical skills. 🌈👏🎉

VIS has always endeavoured to make a difference in student teaching learning process through effective use of technology.  VIS students optimised the opportunity of Annual Global Learning Connection held on December 15-16 2023, to travel virtually through the night to Mumbai, US, London, Canada and Dubai!  
25 students of class 11 participated in this stimulating event. Virtual sessions were held from 10:00 pm on 15 December 2023 to 7:00 am on 16 December 2023. The online sessions covered various topics like AI and Machine Learning, Python programming, teenage challenges, Fossils of Wyoming, Recommendation Engines in AI and life as a student in US and Canada.
It helped to open global frontiers for students and their imagination was fueled by their enthusiasm. Overall it was a great learning experience !

Embarking on a literary journey, VIS students visited Pathways World School, Noida, for an author's meet with the renowned 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' creator, Jeff Kinney. The students were thrilled to meet him as he celebrated his 18th title, 'NO BRAINER'. Overflowing with excitement, they had the privilege of closely witnessing his presence and obtaining author-signed keepsakes—a truly enchanting and enriching experience.

Venkateshwar International School organised Innoverse, the Atal Tinkerfest, on 15 December 2023. A captivating Botpress workshop, led by a Navonamesh, VIS AI Club student immersed participants in the world of chatbot development. Following this, a vibrant exhibition showcased selected participants' innovative models. Renowned speaker Vikas Jain inspired students with a workshop on 'What the Top 1% Leaders are Doing Differently'. The event culminated in a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions of young innovators. The Tinkerfest marked a day of exploration and learning.

Class 3 students embarked on an exhilarating excursion to Apno Ghar, filled with thrilling swings, delectable food, and an abundance of unforgettable experiences. With hearts brimming with happiness of a day well spent in sheer fun and frolic, they made cherished memories and formed bonds that would last a lifetime.

To raise awareness about the importance of conserving energy and to promote sustainable energy practices, National Energy Conservation Day was celebrated on 14 December 2023 in the school. Giving thrust to this initiative, Tata-NDPL organised a Quiz for the students which was followed by the certificate distribution.

Venkateshwar International school was bestowed with the Top Performing School Category Award at the Spell -Well Genius Merit Awards ceremony. Manas Sharma V Hilltop was felicitated with the Arclight Public Speaker Award.

VIS organized an amazing day long excursion for Foundational Years, Classes - I & II at the enchanting Aapno Ghar!  🌈 From thrilling rides to delightful treats, it was a day filled with laughter, joy and memories for lifetime!

VIS held its Annual Day on 1 December 2023 in the school premises. The momentous ceremony was graced by the august presence of honourable Chief Guest Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chief Executive Officer of GMR Group, Guest of Honour, Smt Arunima Lohani, Chairman Shri Mahavir Goel and Principal Dr. Manisha Sharma. VIS students showcased the magnum opus of the evening, the magnificent play, Chhatrapati Shivaji - Adamya Shaurya Ki Gauravgatha. The eminent guests and the audience applauded and congratulated the beaming participants for this grand show. Towards the culmination of the event, a vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Nishu Pandey, Vice Principal.
