Adorned with the hues of the tricolour, Venkateshwar International School celebrated  Independence Day with full grandeur and solemnity. A Special Assembly was held wherein children across the school paid a fitting tribute to our freedom fighters through synchronised medley of patriotic songs, dances and enactments.
On this occasion the the second edition of 'Anveshika'- the school's Annual Science and Innovation Exhibition was organised on the theme of "Scientific Innovation in Alignment with the SDGs". The Chief Guest was Dr Anila Bhatara and the Guest of Honour, Sh Gaurav Bhatara.  After a captivating cultural programme, the guests moved to the Multipurpose Hall to see the projects on display. Due to the concerted efforts of the management, teachers and students the event was lauded as a grand success.

Devdutt Baghel, VIS Cricket Coach and Coach of Indian Deaf Cricket Team received the Bharat Gaurav Ratna Ratna Samman. He was felicitated for his commitment to social service by the Corporate Affairs Government of India.  On receiving the award, Shri Mahavir Goyal, Chairman, Dr. Manisha Sharma, Principal and Ms. Heena Goyal, respected Member of Management congratulated him and applauded his efforts in the field of sports.

The members of the Venky YODA (Youth Organ Donation Awareness ) Club organized a heartwarming parade to raise awareness about organ donation. With pamphlets in hand, they courageously approached strangers on the streets to instil a sense of unity and compassion within the community.

The Anant Club of VIS organised the ‘Tricoloured Snowflakes’ activity for the students of Class V.  Thereafter, Class VIII students also held a workshop for their juniors. Students enjoyed creating the snowflakes!

ANANT, the Maths Society of VIS, organised an Inter House Competition- Maths Master Chef wherein students of classes VI to VII depicted the use of Mathematics in the kitchen by creating delicious delicacies using various mathematical concepts.

Road safety rules are your best tools! To mark the beginning of “Safety Month” VIS has taken road safety education to a whole new level with the help of BMW!

With great zeal and enthusiasm, children of class 1 dressed up in creative attires for the 'Fancy Dress Activity' and enacted their part on the assigned themes. Such activities not only blend learning with fun but give the students an opportunity to explore their interests and combat all hesitation!  After all learning is all about discovering interests.
