School Trip to Jaipur

The school organised an enriching educational trip for Class VI students to Jaipur, Rajasthan, on January 20-21. During their two-day stay, students had a delightful experience exploring art and craft at a handicraft factory as well as immersing themselves in Rajasthani culture and cuisine at Chowki Dhani. The trip concluded with a visit to the artistic Amer Fort, where students engaged in a blog writing activity. Overall, it proved to be a fulfilling and educational experience for all participants.

    VIS students win at International French Spell Bee Competition

    It was a matter of pride for VIS that on 27th January 2024 two students Apratirath Shukla and Suhana Gupta of class IX RV participated in the final round of International French Spell Bee Competition' 24. A total of 25 schools participated from India and Middle East. They were awarded with gold medal and certificate for their outstanding performance at the International level.

      VIS students' projects at the National SPARK Innovation Awards
      With a view of fostering spirit of scientific enquiry and promoting innovation among school children, KVRSS holds an annual science fair wherein the National SPARK Innovation Awards are given for entries displaying harnessing of scientific concepts for solutions to every-day issues through some novel concept/method/process/device. We are pleased to announce that there are three research projects which are selected for the final assessment under different categories
      1) GARUDA PATRONUS - Smart Vehicles made by IKAT SINGH SETHI (9th)ADITYA KUMAR(7th)PRISHA ASHOK (9th)

        CBSE Capacity Building Workshop

        On 24th January 2024 , Venkateshwar International School hosted a workshop organised by the Centre of Excellence (Delhi East) for the Prospective Resource Person Program on Holistic Progress Card. The resource persons and guests of honour were Dr Praggya  M Singh, Director (Academics- Assessment) from CBSE and Ms Alka Awasthi , Principal Mayoor School Noida.  The workshop was attended by Principals and teachers from the leading schools of Delhi NCR and provided comprehensive training on the subject of Holistic Progress Cards , an integral feature of NEP 2020.

          Storytelling Workshop for Class III students

          An engaging and captivating storytelling session was organised for the students of class 3, by Ms. Nupur Aggarwal, a renowned story teller. The usage of hand gestures, voice modulation, props and expressions by her amazed the audience. It was an enriching experience for the students.

            VIS students excel in Gita Scholar Program

            VIS takes pride in the remarkable success of its students in the Gita Scholar Program by Nachiketa Foundation. Securing top three positions and an impressive presence in the first 50 ranks, our students received cash prizes, enriching books and prestigious certifications. The journey unfolded through three captivating rounds, including a captivating Gita round leading to an intellectually charged final round.

              National Youth Celebrations@VIS

              On 12 th January 2024 VIS commemorated National Youth Day with a series of engaging events. Middle school students orchestrated a quiz on Swami Vivekananda, while class VII students collaboratively created insightful posters detailing Swamiji's biography, life and teachings. The occasion featured a compelling recitation of Swami Vivekananda's speech, and value ambassadors from the middle wing collectively took a pledge on 'I CAN' reinforcing a commitment to personal growth. The festivities culminated with a captivating skit performed by students, vividly portraying Swamiji's impactful life.

                Session on Cyber Security

                On 12 January 2024, Mr. P Sudarshan, a Cyber Forensic Expert, conducted an engaging cyber security workshop for students of classes VI to XI.The session covered practical tips for online security. Mr. Sudarshan also discussed types of hacking and advanced concepts like encryption and data backups. The session was brimming with a wealth of information and enthusiasm that permeated the entire day.

                  Capacity Building Workshop on “Vidya Pravesh”

                  A two day transformative workshop was facilitated by Headmistress Foundational Years- Ms. Sanjum Sethi for the teachers of classes - I & II. The workshop was based on the principles of “Vidya Pravesh”.
