Through these activities, the Daayitva club reflects the school’s vision of developing responsible global citizens who understand that even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of positive change.

DIPLOMACY HUB

Diplomacy Hub quizzing forum provides the young learners with the platform to explore diplomacy and international relations amalgamated with the aptitude of quizzing skills, general knowledge and effective communication, inspired by the spirit of Model United Nations.

Through the Diplomacy Hub initiative the young minds develop the leadership skills for students, public speaking skills, understanding peace and global issues while the quizzing club encourages them to develop the problem solving ability, healthy competition, team work by instilling confidence through team building activities for students.

Diplomacy Hub forum aims to nurture curiosity and collaboration thereby articulating young minds to undertake new challenges with utmost perfection.

READER’S CREW

Reader's Crew is a vibrant reading club dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love for reading and knowledge across all ages. We celebrate literary works from every genre through dynamic activities such as dramatizations, writing and speaking competitions, interactive workshops, creative games, and inspiring trips. By blending fun with learning, we empower students to explore new ideas, sharpen critical thinking, and develop strong communication skills for students, all while building a supportive community of curious minds.

We dive into diverse genres and authors, bringing stories to life through plays, skits, and spoken-word performances. We host workshops, debates, and writing contests to help members grow their creative writing skills. Our games, quizzes, and visits to places that transport us into the world of books keep the experience lively and engaging, much like a true book club for kids. And we foster collaboration, encouraging a shared passion for reading from an early age.

Through these initiatives, Reader's Crew aims to instill a robust reading culture and a habit of "knowing many things" that will benefit every student long after they leave the classroom.

GO SHARPENER

An important component of VIS's vision is the school's commitment to sustainability and responsible citizenship. Through its focus on innovation, community engagement, experiential learning and environmental awareness, VIS has progressively worked towards creating a more sustainable future, reflecting its broader approach to sustainability in schools. This direction is strengthened through its engagement with organisations such as GoSharpener, whose work focuses on enabling schools and students to actively participate in sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The collaboration with GoSharpener complements these existing institutional objectives. GoSharpener positions sustainability as an organisational and educational priority, with dedicated programmes for schools, sustainability calendars, student participation and Sustainability Superstar initiatives. Its platform is designed to transform sustainability from an abstract concept into an area of measurable student participation and action.

VIS students have participated in GoSharpener's sustainability-oriented activities, including campaigns connected with environmental awareness and responsible consumption. For instance, students from VIS have been recognised in GoSharpener initiatives addressing textile waste, wildlife conservation and food-related sustainability. These activities provide students with opportunities to engage with environmental issues beyond the classroom and communicate their actions to a broader student community.

PERFECT SHOT

The Photography Club, ‘PERFECT SHOT’ is a vibrant platform that nurtures the artistic vision of students by helping them explore the world through a creative lens. It encourages learners to capture stories, emotions, and beauty in everyday moments. Through workshops, photo walks, and exhibitions, members develop both technical and aesthetic photography skills. The club inspires students to see art in the ordinary and express their unique perspectives visually.

VIS PRESS

The VIS Press Club serves as the vibrant storytelling hub of our school, nurturing young journalists, photographers, and media strategists. True to its purpose, the club empowers students to observe critically, write fearlessly, and capture moments that shape our collective school identity.

Through reporting news, documenting major events, and mastering the fundamentals of photojournalism and event management, the Press Club provides a dynamic platform for students to elevate their communication skills. Members learn to view every event through an analytical lens, articulate diverse perspectives, and work collaboratively to bring stories to life.

By blending creative expression with real-world media execution, the VIS Press Club reflects the school’s vision of building confident, articulate leaders who can engage thoughtfully with the world around them and make their voices heard.

ANANT

ANANT Club is a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the endless possibilities of mathematics. Inspired by the idea of the infinite, ANANT, a mathematics club, provides a platform where students can explore mathematics beyond textbooks, transforming numbers, patterns, and problems into opportunities for discovery.

With a vision of building a platform by everyone and for everyone, ANANT encourages active learning through engaging math club activities, math puzzles for kids, discussions, and debates. The club strives to bridge the gap between mathematical theory, understanding, and real-world application while nurturing logical thinking, curiosity, and versatile problem-solving skills, building critical thinking skills for students along the way.

From uncovering patterns to exploring the role of mathematics in everyday life, ANANT encourages students to approach the subject with fresh perspectives and an open mind. Through its initiatives, the club seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for mathematics and empower students to explore its vast and ever-expanding horizons.

FUTUREPRENEURSHIP

Futurepreneurs is a dynamic platform that fosters entrepreneurial mindset, financial literacy, leadership, and business acumen among students. Through experiential activities such as Mock Stock, IPL Mock Auction, Brand Revival, Shark Tank, Corporate War Room, Business Quizzes, Alumni Workshops, Business Scams and Financial Literacy Workshops, and Logo Design challenges, the club provides practical exposure to real-world business scenarios and entrepreneurship for students. These initiatives aim to develop critical thinking, decision making skills, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, and strategic skills. Futurepreneurs empowers students to turn ideas into opportunities and become confident, innovative, and future-ready leaders.

ANIMUM FLECTERE

The Animum Flectere Club is a public speaking club and space where students come together to speak, question, debate, and look at ideas from different perspectives. Rooted in its name, Animum Flectere—meaning "to influence the mind"—the club encourages students to think beyond their first opinions and develop the confidence to express their thoughts.

Through debates, discussions, moot court sessions, public speaking activities, and other engaging sessions, the club helps students build strong arguments, listen to opposing viewpoints, and respond with clarity. As a debate club, it gives students a platform to explore important issues, challenge their own thinking through critical thinking activities, and learn that a good argument is not just about speaking, but also about listening and understanding.

Through these activities, Animum Flectere reflects the school's vision of nurturing confident, thoughtful, and responsible individuals who are willing to question, learn, and make their voices heard.

INNO INSPIRE

Inno-Inspire is the Science and Technology Club of VIS, dedicated to nurturing curiosity, scientific temperament, and innovation among each student. As an inclusive, student-led space, the club offers inspiring resources and opportunities for hands-on STEM activities for students, project-building, and technology-driven problem-solving, alongside campaigns that spread scientific awareness on key health and community issues. Under its umbrella, YODA (Youth Organ Donation Awareness), an Interact Club, raises organ donation awareness, while the Innovation Council provides a platform for students to pitch, refine, and develop their own scientific and technological ideas into reality. Through these initiatives, Inno Inspire empowers students to think critically, explore fearlessly, and turn scientific curiosity into real-world impact.
