Workshop on Cyber Security

To inculcate awareness about cyber security a highly beneficial workshop was conducted for the students of class VIII by Dr Deepak Kumar, Sr. Digital Forensic & Cyber Intelligence Professional and Chair Member in National Cyber Safety and Security Standards, India. Cyberbullying, internet scams, false social networking profiles, and other themes related to cybersecurity were all covered in the workshop. Several norms and guidelines for using social media, such as not sharing personal, social or financial information online were discussed with the students.

      Puberty Education Campaign

      A PUBERTY EDUCATION CAMPAIGN, supported by Whisper India & Right Side Story, on menstrual cycle awareness and hygiene was conducted for the girls of Classes V to VIII on 26 September 2023, wherein they learned about the myths surrounding menstruation and the science behind it. The girls were also informed about the basic cleanliness practices to be followed in those days.

            A remarkable display of excellence!

            With exceptional expertise, Swaraa Vijayvargiya and Adhiraj Singh of VIS, secured the 1st position and winner's trophy in the Inter School 'Together We Can: Building a Community Space’ Competition. Their project SAMVYAY incorporated design thinking keeping in mind the SDGs and G20 mantra - Vasudev Kutumbkam.

              VIS students showcase their AI projects at CBSE Exhibition

              We are delighted to share that our students got the opportunity to exhibit their AI projects at the National Summit on Facilitating School to Work Transition organised by CBSE. These were showcased to a panel of distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. R P Singh, Mr. Biswajit Saha and Mr. Joseph Emmanuel. It was a truly enriching learning experience as students and teachers got valuable insights on the importance of Skill Education in schools.

                Enriching & Entertaining Workshop for Foundational Years Classes- I & II

                Teachers from Classes- I & II had an enriching hands-on session on “Puppet Making” by H.M Foundational Years, Ms. Sanjum Sethi. This workshop enlightened the teachers on how puppets can be made using recycled material to bring joy on the faces of young learners.

                      A moment of pride, joy and jubilation

                      Sohaana Singh of Class-V Daisydale and Aadhya Bansal of IV Riverdale bagged Second runners up position in an Interschool competition -Together We can 2023, held at Nirmal Bhartia School.They created a reading chair cum library ladder, a project that embodied both creativity and the principles of sustainable development. They combined functionality, aesthetics and sustainability, all while utilizing eco-friendly materials and methods.
