      Prisha Rastogi bags trophy at International Abacus Competition

      Prisha Rastogi of class 3 has bagged 3rd runner up trophy and certification from World largest Abacus and Mathematics event  in International Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition 2024 held by UCMAS India. 1500 Students from 30 countries participated in this competition. The students solved 200 arithmetic problems in eight minutes.

            A workshop on Exam Stress, conducted at VIS by Mandeep Kaur Bhalla, founder of Peacepod, equipped students with effective stress-management techniques. Participants learned practical mindfulness exercises, relaxation strategies and cognitive approaches to manage anxiety during exams. The session emphasised emotional well-being and provided valuable tools to reduce stress and enhance focus.

                    VIS students attend internship at NUS, Singapore

                    VIS students attended a 15-day AI Internship for Young Achievers (AIYA) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The program offered hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, covering AI applications, ethical considerations and building ML models using Amazon SageMaker and Python. Students also developed problem-solving, teamwork and adaptability skills while exploring Singapore’s culture. Certifications from NUS and AWS equipped participants with industry-relevant expertise and a competitive edge for future academic and career opportunities.
