On 5th December 2015, the students of the Primary wing showcased their talent by putting up a thought provoking exhibition, using recycled waste.
It was a proud privilege to have Dr. Shelja Sen, a senior adolescent psychologist and a renowned author as the chief guest.  Alongside, a cultural extravaganza was showcased wherein a Bharatnatyam performance mesmerised  the audience.  This was followed by the Aasanas performed by the young fitness freaks who gave the message that yoga should be a way of life.  The audience was charmed by the live orchestra.   The instruments were created by using a pile of junk which we normally witness in the bin.  A fashion show with a twist of 3’R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) followed by a Hot Parade was the icing on the cake. The lush green lawns of the school were adorned with the appealing Christmas decorations.  The exuberance continued with the magic show.  Some important tips for environmental awareness were shared by the Eco Club and the health tips were highlighted by the Ayurveda Centre.  Other attractions of the exhibition were the pottery corner, furniture created by using the old tyres, lamps made of plastic spoons and disposable bottles.  Other waste material was innovatively used to desing useful products like photo frames, pen holders, magazine holders etc.
The exhibition conveyed a message that the need of the hour is to join our hands to keep our planet Earth green, clean and safe.
