Commendable Achievement by Bharat Singla

Bharat Singla, student of class XI Springdale, has made us immensely proud by securing a position in the team of top 15 Indian students in the  Indian Olympiad in Informatics (INOI). He is  also likely to get a chance to represent India at International Olympiad of Informatics 2023.

    Viraj Singh wins@Umeed 2023

    Viraj Singh, a student of 4RV, was awarded for his scintillating performance on the drums at "Umeed 2023" held at Pearey Lal Bhawan as part of annual showcase of Tenex School of Music. He performed solo, and supported other acts, impressing everyone with his drumming skills.

      A rejuvenating trip for the teachers
      Venkateshwar International School organized a rejuvenating trip for the teachers to “The Heritage Village Resort, Manesar” from 25 to 26 February 2023.
      This much-awaited trip was reinvigorating, relaxing, and a great bonding time for the teachers. The teachers united and appreciated the blissful sojourn in the picturesque luxurious resort amidst the rich opulence of nature. The teachers enjoyed many fun-filled activities and the serene and tranquil ambience of the resort coupled with its excellent service, mouthwatering cuisine, and foot-tapping music were thoroughly loved by everyone and made the stay a memorable experience.
      The teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the school management for the beautiful gesture. It was an outing that the teachers would always treasure!!

        NPSC LITERATURE FEST 2023

        The NPSC literature fest was conducted for budding authors to understand, discuss, debate, and enunciate their own thoughts, emotions and ideas. In this fest, various sessions were conducted by famous authors, poets and educationists. One such session was ‘Poetry as a Healing Art,’ wherein the speakers spoke about how poetry connects us to deeper meanings and elevates our thoughts.  VIS student of class XI Hilltop,  Anusha Garg, a published author, with five books to her credit, was a part of the ‘Authors Unboxed Session’ , where eight budding authors were interviewed by known authors Ms.Sutapa Basu and Ms.Anupama Jain, on their writing journey. This literary fest was an enriching and insightful experience for all participants.

          VIS Students win Cash Prizes
          In collaboration with Vietravel, the Vietnam Embassy in India, organised the 'Vietnam India Friendship Essay Writing Contest 2022'.
          The theme of this contest was 'Vietnam - My Next Holiday Destination'. Over 6000 students of grades VI to XII from 150 schools participated.
          We are ecstatic to shared that two talented students of our school, Khushi Gupta of class XII and Aditya Jain of class IX, won the second and the special prize respectively. They received certificates along with cash prizes of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 1000 respectively. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted in the Vietnam Embassy. The winners attended the ceremony accompanied by school Principal, Dr. Manisha Sharma and their proud parents. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vietnamese Ambassador, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, who addressed the audience and felicitated the winners .

            Akshat Goyal of IV BD bags First rank in Zonal Level Competition

            Akshat Goyal of IV BD got 1st Rank in Silverzone Maths Olympiad at Zonal level and Olympiad Rank 4 in level 1 and he qualified for level 2.He got Gold Medal for Zonal level topper. He got 100/100 marks.

                Online Session with Gems International School, Dubai
                As part of the Student Exchange Programme, Venkateshwar International School organised an Online Session on the topic Storytelling, for the students of Gems International School, Dubai. VIS teacher, Ms. Divya discussed interesting and creative ways of writing stories. Students from both the schools actively participated in the session and keenly contested in the numerous activities that were organised for them.

                  VIS Team Member gets recognition

                  Our school counsellor Ms. Shruti Pandey was invited as a mental health expert on PMeVidya Channel under the initiative of ‘Manodarpan’ by Ministry of Education. The discussion was on ‘Building Peer and Sibling Support towards Conducive Environment During Exam Time.’ The session was also streamed live on the official YouTube channel of NCERT.
