Session for parents on managing social media and gadget addiction

A session was conducted for parents to address concerns around excessive gadget use and social media addiction in students. The discussion focused on building self-discipline and its role in long-term career success. Parents were guided on setting healthy digital boundaries at home. Practical strategies like tech-free zones, routine setting, and positive reinforcement were shared. The session encouraged collaborative parenting to model balanced technology use and foster responsible habits.

    Workshop on Stress and Anxiety Management

    The Daayitva Club and Psychology Department hosted an interactive workshop on stress and anxiety management with Ms. Pooja Khanna from UPES School for Life. Through storytelling, brain science, and practical tools, students explored ways to understand and manage their emotions. It was a creative and calming experience that left young minds feeling more cared for.

      VIS students win Quiz at St. Stephens College

      We are proud to share that Tanay Singh Butola (XI SD) and Abhilash Kumar (XI SD) bagged the second position in the ISBT Filler quiz held at St Stephen’s college, New Delhi. It was a closely contested quiz and our students did extremely well!

        VIS students excel at World Scholars Cup


        Sohanna Singh of Class VII DD and Ayushi Raj of class IX BD have made the school proud by winning laurels in the World Scholars cup 2025 (NCR Northern Regional round )
        Sohanna bagged 4 gold medals and one silver medal while Ayushi Raj bagged 6 gold medals and 2 trophies. Around 2700 students participated in Day3 event held in Gurgaon.

          The young thespians of VIS Preparatory Years performed a nukkad natak based on the growing problem of pollution and the crucial role adults play in shaping young minds. It conveyed that children learn by observing their elders, and therefore, it’s our responsibility to set the right example. The performance urged everyone to take immediate action—plant more trees and adopt sustainable habits—to pave the way for a pollution-free and greener tomorrow.

            VIS students win at Interschool Computer Fest

            We are proud to announce that students from our school made a remarkable mark in this year’s annual inter-school  IT fest, LiveWire 2025 hosted by BGS International school by bagging multiple top positions. Their consistent hard work and tech-savvy attitude helped them rise above stiff competition.  The team consisting of Aahaan Kamra, XII RD, Aarush Sehgal, XI LD, Yuvraj Chopra, XI RD, Neil Ahuja, XI RD and Aaliya Thakkar, XI RD bagged the second position in the gaming event, Valorant. Ishaan Garg XII RV also secured the second prize in the photography event, Aperture Alchemy.

              LEADING LEADERS OF TOMORROW

              On 3 May 2025 , the Senior Wing of the school organised a Leadership Camp wherein the students participated with brimming enthusiasm in a day long series of engaging activities aimed at chiselling leadership traits. The day commenced with a prayer and an inspiring address by esteemed Principal, Dr. Manisha Sharma, followed by numerous enriching activities  designed to unravel leadership qualities through design thinking, mindful reflection and farsighted vision.Kudos to all mentors and mentees for creating such enriching experiences and memorable moments.
