VIS Students Shine at the Prestigious Kalarav Theatre Festival

VIS is proud to announce that our students were selected to perform at the esteemed Kalarav Theatre Festival, organised by the Delhi Government Hindustani Bhasha Academy at the LTG Auditorium, Mandi House, New Delhi.

With over 200 schools submitting their entries, only 30 schools were selected for the festival — making this achievement truly exceptional. Our students’ performance stood out for its creativity, expression, and stage presence, earning heartfelt appreciation from the audience and organisers. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication of our young performers and the strong support of their mentors. Their success has brought immense pride to the VIS family.

A Fistful of Kindness, A Heart Full of Love

A fistful of kindness can truly fill a heart!
Our young learners at Venkateshwar International School came together for a simple yet meaningful act of compassion. Each child contributed a handful of rice and pulses to a local Child Care Centre, showing that generosity doesn’t depend on how much we give — only on the sincerity behind it.

Their tiny hands and big hearts reminded us that even the smallest gestures can create a powerful impact. Through this thoughtful initiative, our children learned the joy of sharing, empathy, and caring for others — values that shape responsible and sensitive citizens of tomorrow.

Reader's Crew honours Ahilya Bai Holkar

The Reader’s Crew Club of Venkateshwar International School organised a special event to honour Ahilya Bai Holkar, one of India’s most inspiring women leaders. The programme was graced by Dr. Balram Paani, Dean of Delhi University and Sanghachalak (Western Division), RSS, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Naresh Sachdeva, eminent RSS member, as the Guest of Honour.

Students opened the programme with a brief introduction to Ahilya Bai Holkar’s life, highlighting her wisdom, compassion, and visionary leadership. This was followed by a beautifully enacted play showcasing key moments from her journey—her just rule, her temple restoration work, and her strength during challenging times. The event aimed to make history engaging while promoting women empowerment and strong moral values. The impactful storytelling helped students connect with her legacy and reflect on the relevance of her ideals today. The programme left a lasting impression and reflected the Reader’s Crew’s dedication to creative learning and celebrating India’s rich heritage.
