Magie de la Cuisine Francaise: An inter house French cooking activity

Students enthusiastically prepared a variety of simple French dishes such as crêpes, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. They explained the ingredients, method of preparation, and the cultural significance of each dish. The activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and confidence among students while making learning fun and interactive. Overall, it was an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone involved.

    Chandigarh Chronicles: Experiential Learning Beyond the Classroom

    Students of Class X embarked on an enriching educational trip to Chandigarh, organised as part of the school’s progressive vision in collaboration with EdTerra Edventures. The visit was designed to promote experiential learning and offer students an opportunity to explore art, nature, and environmental stewardship beyond the confines of the classroom.

    During the tour, students explored prominent sites such as the Rock Garden, Chhatbir Zoo, and Sukhna Lake. Each venue offered valuable insights, from understanding biodiversity and wildlife conservation to appreciating the creative use of recycled materials and the importance of sustainable living. The day concluded with an exhilarating dance evening filled with pulsating music and vibrant energy, allowing students to unwind and celebrate together.

    The trip culminated with students receiving certificates and badges for their enthusiastic participation. Overall, the Chandigarh educational tour proved to be a memorable and intellectually stimulating experience that nurtured curiosity, teamwork and responsible travel habits among students.

      VIS IPL MOCK AUCTION 2025 for Class VIII
      The Futurepreneurs Club of Venkateshwar International School proudly hosted the IPL Mock Auction 2025 for Class VIII on 22 December, organised by the Futurepreneurs Club. The intra-school event brought together students from Class VIII for a high-octane simulation combining cricket expertise, financial planning, squad strategy, and rapid negotiation, all on the school campus 
       
      Crafted to replicate the thrill and pressure of a real IPL auction, teams were challenged to go beyond names, making smart bids, managing budgets mentally, evaluating team balance, and planning rotational player swaps under silent, time-bound trading windows, reflecting true risk-management and tactical thinking. More than a cricket activity, Mock Auction stood as a platform for student leadership, teamwork, presence of mind, and strategic composure under pressure, strengthening the school’s vision of experiential excellence.

        Playnomics Workshop for Grade XI
        As part of experiential learning and career-oriented exposure, Venkateshwar International School, Sector-10, Dwarka conducted an engaging Playnomics Workshop for Grade XI students on 19th December 2025. The workshop aimed to help students understand key economic concepts through gameplay, making learning interactive and practical.
        The session was conducted by Prof. Aryapriya Ganguly, Professor at the Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF). The workshop introduced students to economic decision-making, resource allocation, production, and profit-maximisation through a structured simulation game.
        Students were divided into 9 teams, with each team representing a country. Each country was provided with different resources, simulating real-world economic inequalities. Based on the resources available, teams were required to manufacture paper shapes according to predefined rules and templates. Each shape carried a specific monetary value, and teams earned money based on accurate production, quality, and strategic planning.

          Annual Night Long Global Local Connect

          VIS has always endeavoured to make a difference in student teaching learning process through effective use of technology. VIS students optimised the opportunity of Annual Global Learning Connection held on December 18-19 2025, to travel virtually through the night to Vellore, US, Ireland and Dubai! 25 students of class XI participated in this stimulating event. Virtual sessions were held from 9:00 pm on 18 December 2025 to 6:00 am on 19 December 2025. The online sessions covered various topics like AI and Machine Learning, Python programming, Stress Management, Fossils of North America, and life as a student in US.

          It helped to open global frontiers for students and their imagination was fueled by their enthusiasm. Overall it was a great learning experience!

            Preparatory Wing of Venkateshwar International school, sector 10 , Dwarka organised Saanjhi Virasat, a cultural exposition celebrating India’s regional diversity. Students represented various states through authentic folk dances, traditional attire, thematic installations, and carefully curated decorations. Informative stalls displayed regional crafts, festivals, and heritage symbols. The event deepened students’ cultural awareness, strengthened collaborative learning. Each child’s personalised growth was fostered as they questioned, researched and innovated. Our esteemed Chairman Sh Mahavir Goel and the Chief Guest Mr. Raman Kant- The Riverman of India encouraged the students to be lifelong learners .

              Career Fair at VIS

              The Career Fair at VIS Dwarka for Grades VI to XII was an informative and engaging event featuring over 35 leading Indian and international universities. Institutions such as Ashoka University, OP Jindal Global University, Flame University, Shiv Nadar University, and several global universities including Tokyo International University, Kent State University, SRH Germany, and the University of San Diego interacted with students. Representatives offered insights into global education systems, admission processes, scholarships, and emerging career fields. Students gained clarity on the academic preparation and skills needed for various disciplines. Younger students explored diverse career possibilities, while senior students received guidance for higher education choices and competitive exams. Overall, the event strengthened VIS Dwarka’s commitment to holistic development and future-ready career planning.
