‘Prayaas- A window to Incredible India’ was held at VIS , Sec-10 on 7 December 2019 with the aim of glorifying India’s rich cultural heritage. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sushil Kumar , DDE-Zone 21 and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Veer Munshi, inaugurated the grand art exhibition by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The welcome address was presented by Dr. Manisha Sharma, Vice-Principal, and Ms. Nishu Pandey, Headmistress- Middle Wing.
Each room displayed a gallery of artifacts created by students. The elaborate exhibits gained admiration from the esteemed guests and proud parents. The cultural programme highlighted the diverse legacy of India vis a vis an enactment which was interspersed with various dance forms showcasing multi-hued culture and traditions of our motherland. Besides, a special corner was created for avid readers with life- size book frames and children impersonating authors from all around the globe;old readable books were recycled to give the venue a fresh look. Café Prayaas witnessed an overwhelming footfall.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Sushil Kumar and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Veer Munshi expressed their ecstasy and appreciation, generously, while witnessing the extravagant display of visual and performing art forms.
