National Technology Day@VIS

On the occasion of World Technology Day, VIS Tech Club, Navonamesh organized an online Inter School Computer Fest-Sync 2.0. The events included gaming, PPT showcase, Scratch game designing, movie, and meme making. With 36 schools participating from UAE, Delhi, NCR, and across India, a diverse showcase of technological prowess and innovative thinking was witnessed. The competition not only fostered collaboration but also celebrated the global impact of technology in education.

    Wall Magazine Competition

    the Artificium club organized a Wall Magazine competition where students from classes IX-XII showcased their creativity and teamwork. They designed vibrant wall displays on diverse themes, combining text, visuals, and artistic elements. The event fostered collaboration, research skills and healthy competition among the houses.

      Workshop by Kalamanthan Club

      The Kalamanthan Club recently hosted a dynamic workshop for the students of classes VIII-XII, emphasizing the importance of regular practice, diverse music genres and career paths within the music industry. Conducted by VIS alumni Akshay Pushpa Manoharan, Aayush Dahiya, Anitt Bagga, and Shashwat Sharma, the event inspired students to explore their musical talents and consider various industry opportunities.

        Visit to the National School of Drama
        On 7 May 2024, the theatre students of the performing arts club KALAMANTHAN visited the National School of Drama and Shri Ram Center for Performing Arts, Mandi House to watch a play titled CHAINPUR KI DASTAAN, written by Ranjit kapoor an adaptation of The Government Inspector
        written by Nikolai Gogol. They learned the finer nuances of professional theatre by observing the talented thespians.

            VIS Student wins the 'Inspire Manak Award'

            We're thrilled to announce that Adhiraj Venkatesh has won the prestigious 'Inspire Manak Award' at the national level and has been awarded a cash prize in recognition of his achievements. This award, a part of the 'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) in India, recognises his groundbreaking project, 'पकक्षिन्ताप' (Pakshintaap) which is a programmed fitbird collar that can diagnose infections in birds before they become contagious and deadly.

              Atal Community Day Programme@VIS

              A successful Atal Community Day Programme took place in the school on April 27, 2024. Engaging students from diverse schools, the event featured dynamic Tinkering activities. The core team delivered exceptional sessions, facilitating hands-on learning experiences. Students acquired a myriad of new skills, including chatbot creation, utilizing the provided ATL kits. Additionally, workshops on ATL labs, Design Thinking, Introduction to AI, and chatbot techniques were conducted, enhancing the children's learning journey with a plethora of innovative concepts.

                VIS students win at World Scholar’s Cup

                In the World Scholar’s Cup, NCR and Northern India regional round held at DPS International, Gurugram, our school team comprising Tejas Sehgal (XI), Syna Sachedeva (X) and Ashmita Aghi (X), bagged 22 golds and 6 silver medals.
