To commemorate the National Law Day, VIS organized an informative webinar for grade XI students. The guest speaker, Mr. Gaurav Bhatara, CEO AB Education (Forbes 2020, 2021) threw light on the existing system of law in India and various lucrative career options available in the legal arena. It was an enriching session for the students.

    Honorable Principal of Venkateshwar International School,  Dr Manisha Sharma led a discussion as an esteemed panelist. The topic was role of NEP in promoting innovation and increasing subject choices for students. School leaders also reviewed using experiential learning and bridging the digital gap during the pandemic. The online event was organised by Amity University, Gurgaon.

      Online session with Korean students
      Online session with Korean students   

      VIS students had the fourth online session with students of Ulsan School of Foreign Language, Korea. The topic for discussion this time was border disputes with our neighbours. The Korean students spoke about their relations with Japan and North Korea, whereas we discussed about the Indo-Sino wars with China and various skirmishes with Pakistan. At the same time, we showed how the culture of the two countries is highly influenced by India. After this brainstorming session, students discussed  the ongoing Diwali celebrations in our country. It was an invigorating  session!

        Diwali Celebrations with Mathematical Lamps   

        A Diwali Celebration webinar was conducted by TEAM ANANT@VIS Maths Club under the guidance of respected teachers Mr. Amit and Ms. Priyanka. The concepts of polyhedrons was introduced through an interactive online session. Approximately 60 students from VI-VIII participated in various activities and learnt the concepts in a fun-filled way. The purpose of this activity was to encourage students to come up with innovative ideas. The final outcome of this session was wonderful and colourful, sustainable lamps created by attendees. We hope that this Diwali makes your life as colourful as these lamps.
