Virtual Christmas Assembly@VIS

Christmas is a time of spiritual reflection on the important foundations of the gratitude and the joy of giving. To indulge in the festive spirit of Christmas, the Literary Club along with the Science Society of Venkateshwar International School organised an event to release the special edition of their respective newsletters - Dialogue and Vaigyanika. It was lovely to have the alumni back to interact once again with a touch of nostalgia and fondness.
Principal ma'am, Dr. Manisha Sharma, along with the mentors of the respective clubs appreciated the efforts the students put in to orchestrate such an event virtually right from the safety of our homes while also living the festive fervour and showcasing exemplary creativity through the newsletters.
The event was a huge success and painted the beautiful morning of Christmas with festive spirit and the town in red and white!

Best out of Waste Activity - Remote learning@VIS

Students of class III participated in ‘Best Out of Waste Activity’. The kids used their creativity and imagination to make innovative things like wall – hangings, kitchen garden, waste-bins, pen holders, photo frames, bird –house and many such useful everyday objects. The students reused items like newspapers, shoe-boxes, bottles, bangles etc. This activity helped the students to realise the importance of reusing waste material available at home.
It was amazing to see how these young minds could transform waste items into beautiful articles!
