VIS Student wins @IIT Delhi
Way to go Bharat! We are ecstatic to share that Bharat Singla, a student of XI SD, bagged the first position in a Competitive Programming event organised by Tryst, IIT Delhi - India's largest Tech Fest!
The contest witnessed participation from 70+ teams from various colleges across India including IITs, NITs and IIITs. He received a certificate and cash prize of ?5000.

    Aditya Chaudhary (IX DD), Pavni Soin (IX DD) and Anish Kr. Ram (X RD) received a certificate from CBSE for being in the TOP 100 in Delhi East region in the Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge 2022. The School Management and The Principal extended their heartiest wishes to the proud achievers.

      World Millets Day@VIS
      On 18 Mar 23, VIS students visited PUSA Institute on the eve of World Millets Day. Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated this conference and exhibition on Millet research.
      Various products made of this wonderful food grain were also displayed. The visit was indeed a fruitful one. It helped our students achieve awareness about the nutritional benefits of Millets and it's contribution towards enhancing food security.

        Class Presentation by students of VIS “ULLAS!”

        Bringing people together- the magic of Indian celebrations through Class Presentation by students of VIS Class- 1 “ULLAS!”

        Indian festivals are known for their vibrant colours, delicious food, and joyous celebrations. To showcase the rich cultural heritage of India, Grade 1 students organized a class presentation on Indian festivals through various dance forms. ‘Ullaas’ was presented on 14th March 2023 and 18th March 2023 in the school auditorium. The presentation started with auspicious lamp lighting by our distinguished chief guests Dr. Saroj Vyas - Principal Director - Fairfield Institute on 14th March 2023 and Dr. Venita Kaul, Professor at Ambedkar University Delhi, on 18th March 2023 accompanied by our honourable Principal Ma’am Dr. Manisha Sharma and honourable H.M Foundational Years Ms. Sanjum Sethi. The programme began with a brief introduction to Indian festivals. The students explained their cultural and social significance and also shared interesting facts about each festival. The students then proceeded to showcase various festivals through dance performances. The little ones were dressed in vibrant and colourful costumes that added to the overall appeal of the presentation. It was a visual extravaganza. ‘Ullaas’ was not only a visual treat but also a learning experience for everyone present. It showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and the significance of festivals in bringing people together, leaving the audience spellbound. Such presentations go a long way in promoting cultural diversity and understanding among people. We keep striving to inculcate lifelong values in our students through such initiatives.

          Grand Parents Day Celebrations

          To celebrate the essence of the profound relationship of a grandchild with his/her grandparents, the tiny angels of Venkateshwar International School put up a gala show in the school ground. The programme commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony in the august presence of Chairman Sh. Mahavir Goel, Manager Sh. Sunil Goel and Treasurer Sh. Gautam Mittal, followed by 'Ganesh Vandana' which filled the air with tranquility. The Principal, Dr. Manisha Sharma welcomed the gathering and shared her insights on the significant role a grandparent plays in the life of the grandchild. Exhibiting various themes carefully curated for the event, the flawless dance troupes lit up the stage with their graceful moves in their vibrant attire. Patriotic fervor reverberated in the hall with a soulful rendition of the song 'Ae mere watan ke logo'. The audience was left spell bound and applauded the performers whole heartedly. Aarya Nagpal and Hitantya Malik stole the show with their impeccable compering. The Chief Guests for the occasion Ms.Kalpana Kapoor, an eminent educationist and Shri. Vijay Kr. Mongia, SDM Dwarka congratulated the kids on their spectacular performance , The programme culminated with a vote of thanks presented by Ms. Poonam Headmistress VIS KIDS.
