Virtually celebrating Lohri

The Organisation Committee of the Scientia Society conducted a session to celebrate Lohri; The COVID Style. The session included a thoroughly researched and informative presentation informing the students about the festivals of Lohri, Pongal and Makasakrant all the while looking into the science behind celebrating them. The Omicron variant was taken up next and the students were given the knowledge of the symptoms and precautions to be taken for it, as well as a comparative analysis between the Delta and the Omicron variants. The hosts encouraged everyone to get vaccinated and take appropriate precautions to curb the spread of the virus. The session was concluded with the launch of Vigyanika, the first edition of the Scientia newsletter of the year 2022. The event was praised by everyone alike and was a great success for the society! We are attaching the presentation for reference and details.
