Glorious Moment for VIS

"Victory is not a symbol of hard work, but of excellence."
It is with immense pleasure that we  share that Venkateshwar International School’s project Audio Drishti (audial vision helmets for blind) has bagged 1st Position in NOVUS international Conference at CMS Lucknow. 
The Project has ultrasonic sensors that informs the visually challenged  about the presence of an object within a range of 2 metres. The Team comprised of four Class XI students - Samay Das, Ananya Laxshmivarhan, Meyhar Dudeja and Ganesha Raja.
The conference was attended by over 600 people around the globe with the Chief Guest being respected Mr. Satish Mahana, currently  serving as Cabinet Minister For Industrial Development in the Uttar Pradesh government ).

      Workshop@NEP2020

      National Education Policy 2020 is the recent pertinent milestone in the realm of school education. An informative and interactive  workshop was conducted by VIS Principal Dr. Manisha Sharma to orient the teachers about the revamped vision, principles, curriculum and pedagogical nuances of NEP'20. It was indeed a stimulating session that geared the teachers to innovate and improve.

        Rewind 2020

        VIS SCIENTIA SOCIETY’s THINK TANK CONGRESS organised the GRAND CULMINATING CEREMONY of VIS SCIENTIA SOCIETY 2020-21 workshop titled “ REWIND:2020 “ in reminisce of the past year which marked the end of this year's Scientia Society. 

        The workshop encompassed the events of the year.  The speakers gave a brief timeline of back to back shocks and surprising events that took place in the year. 
        They addressed the recent discoveries and information gathered about the new virus strain.  Special emphasis was given on student life and different sides to the new online education system . The speakers discussed suitable self help measures to cope up with stress and improve concentration. Various momentous astronomical observations that made this year even more special definitely did not go unaddressed by the students. In the end the speakers motivated the students to create resolutions which was described to be “ a self cleansing ritual “. 
        The session ended with the Announcement of the Much Awaited results of the Poster Making Contest organised by The Think Tank .
